well, made a poll asking what Easter is about for you, Chocolate or Jesus
it was 50/50, which I found rather sad, but not unexpected
and this is the comment I wrote under it
decided I'd make it a journal so that it could become a discussion w/ my devwatch people if they want to ~smiles~
so here...


now, I love chocolate very very much, but when it comes to comparing chocolate to Jesus, well, there is no comparison
Christ is infinately above and beyond
if I had a choice between chocolate and Jesus, and would, w/o hesitation, pick Jesus, and.. well... it makes me sad that people have that sort of choice all the time (only not chocolate.. just some other thing of this world), and so many choose the worthless, temporary, unsatisfying thing of this world... when Christ is Life, Love, and Joy! pure, true Life, Love and Joy!
Chocolate is a comfort food for times of emotional hurt, or stress, or exaustion...
Christ is the cure to emotional hurt, stress, exaustioon, etc.. He is the cure of all in general!
now, I know many people will read this and think I'm being a phsyco freak person, or that I just don't make any sense, or that none of this could every be true.. etc... and, if anyone has any problems w/ this (or wants to add something, that'd be lovely too) feel free to challenge what I believe and why
I mightn't get any posts, but who knows, maybe someone will ask something

remember is about far more than bunnies and chocolate and devilled eggs
